Registration of Litters

Section 1 

A litter of kittens may be stud book registered witn REFR if one of the following sets of conditions has been met:

A.  Both parents are stud book registered with REFR.

B.  One parent is stud book registered with REFR and one parent is foundation book registered with REFR.

C.  Both parents are foundation book registered with REFR.

D. One parent is stud book registered with REFR and the other parent is registered with another registry.  Appropriate documentation must accompany the parent not REFR-registered. C.  Both parents are foundation book registered with REFR.

E.  Both parents are registered with another registry.  Appropriate documentation must accompany each parent.

Section 2

A litter of kittens may be foundation book registered with REFR if one of the following sets of conditions has been met:

A.  One parent is stud book registered with REFR and te other parent is unregistered or a breed not allowed for stud book crosses.

B.  One parent is foundation book registered with REFR and the other parent is unregistered or a breed not allowed for stud book crosses.

Section 3

An application for registration of a litter must be made on  the Official Form of the registry (link below) on the Forms Page of this website.  ALL sections must be completed on the application.  In addition, designated information on each kitten in the litter must be completed.  

Section 4  

The Registrar will issue the breeder a certificate of litter registration.  In addition, each kitten in the litter will receive a registration slip which may be used by the new owner to register the kitten.
